Mock Odor Recognition Trial

Preparing for an upcoming Odor Recognition Trial (ORT)? A little experience in a trial-like setting can make a meaningful difference in how you and your dog approach the real event.

Join us at Sit, Stay, ’N Play for a Mock ORT designed to give nose work teams an opportunity to practice their skills, build confidence, and become more comfortable with the trial experience in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

From navigating the search area to recognizing your dog’s communication and refining your handling skills, this event offers valuable experience for both ends of the leash. It’s an opportunity to see where your training is coming together, identify areas you’d like to strengthen, and continue building trust in your teamwork.

Whether you’re preparing for your first ORT or looking for additional practice before an upcoming trial, we welcome you and your dog to join us.

We look forward to helping teams feel more prepared, confident, and connected as they take their next steps in nose work.
