Staying Informed About the Mysterious Respratory Illness in Dogs

Mysterious Respiratory Dog Illness: What To Know and Expect From Us

We want to reassure you that there have not been any cases that we are aware of at our facility.

There are lots of us who are concerned about our dogs and with so much of the news being dedicated to this current outbreak. Here is the latest information on the new respiratory illness we are seeing pop up in dogs all over the country. Please be vigilant and make informed decisions about where your dogs go.

As a training facility, we want all our guests to know that we are doing everything in our power to keep our space safe for your dogs. While it might feel scary to attend classes, we would like to point out that your dog will really struggle if you isolate them completely, and a facility with a well-thought-out plan for biosecurity may be the safest option for meeting your dog’s mental needs during this time.

We have always, and will continue to limit the number of teams that train together to keep social distance.

If your dog has been exposed to a dog with an upper respiratory illness, but is not showing any symptoms, we suggest a 2-week quarantine.

If your dog has been exposed to a dog with an upper respiratory illness, and is showing symptoms, we suggest you quarantine your dog for 4 weeks after all the symptoms have passed.

Please, do not take your dog places if they are showing signs of respiratory illness. Here is what we are doing to maintain a safe environment for your dog:
